Users must set up an account to enter challenges, win points and receive account information via e-mail. They may also create detailed profiles for easy interaction amongst the community. Personal information collected for these various purposes - and how it is utilized - is listed below:

• When you register with GorillaGamer we collect user submitted information such as username, email address, zip code, gender, and age to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the GorillaGamer.com service. Also collecting your e-mail address allows GorillaGamer to send you announcements if you win the tournaments that you participate in and to invite you to participate in invitation-only tournaments. Please note that GorillaGamer reserves the right to contact users via email regarding administrative matters associated with their account, such as points, password reminders, and technical support.
• GorillaGamer.com also collects other profile data including but not limited to: personal interests, gender, age, education and occupation in order to assist users in finding and communicating with each other.
• User Profile information including members' pictures and usernames are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join GorillaGamer, to add users to members' friends' networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network Users within a personal network communicate on GorillaGamer.com with each other through the GorillaGamer.com service, without disclosing their email addresses. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends, competitors and acquaintances on the service, GorillaGamer.com allows users to search for other members using first and last name, email address, game played, and schools and/or companies where users may have attended or worked.
• GorillaGamer members may store email addresses of people they know in their internal GorillaGamer address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.
• If you redeem a prize or other promotional feature, GorillaGamer may ask for your real name, mailing address, and e-mail address so that you can be notified and arrange for delivery.
• In addition, GorillaGamer also reserves the right to use the information collected to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site, as well as new services and special offers you may find valuable.
• If you are a USA taxpayer and your total redeemed prize value on GorillaGamer in any given calendar year reaches a total of $600, GorillaGamer will request that you submit your social security number in order to send you a Form 1099, as required by Internal Revenue Service regulations. Failure to provide your social security number at that time will prevent you from redeeming any further prizes.
• We also collect non-personal information that we use to customize your experience on GorillaGamer, including: IP address, Internet service provider, geographic location, browser type, operating system, pages viewed on GorillaGamer, feedback information, points and prize winnings and game statistics.
