How It Works
Tax
  1. Why is money being withheld from me?
The U.S. Internal Revenue Service requires GorillaGamer to withhold a portion of the winnings paid to certain players. You are subject to withholding if you fall into the following category:
U.S. players who have won over $600 and have not submitted a W-9 form. If you are a U.S. citizen and have won over $600, you are required to submit a W-9 Form for tax reporting purposes. If you choose not to submit this form, GorillaGamer is required to withhold 28% of your winnings (your competition winnings minus entry fees for those competitions which resulted in winnings). You can go back and submit the form at any time and to prevent further tax withholding.
All tax withholdings will be remitted to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service in compliance with IRS rules and regulations. Such tax withholdings, once withheld, will not be refundable to you by GorillaGamer for any reason.

If you have submitted a W-9 tax form you will receive a report of your income and withholdings at the end of each year.
  2. Where can I view my reportable income?
If GorillaGamer is required to submit tax information regarding your account, we will keep a record of your Reportable Income. This information is kept for all players who have received $600 or more in net winnings (your competition winnings, minus the entry fees for those competitions which resulted in winnings to you).
