General Information

This is my first time here. How do I get started?
After registration you must first, confirm your email address. Do this by logging into your email account and selecting the email from GorillaGamer. Once you confirm your email address, you will automatically receive points in your account.

Your points are immediately available to play with in the GorillaGamer Challenge Room.
Another user is harassing me, what can I do about it?
It is very important to us to keep the site fun, courteous and pleasant for all who play here.

In the future, if there is unacceptable behavior, it helps us to have a screen shot of the conversation or record the time and email this to us at mycommunity@gorillagamer.com.
What is the GG fee?
This is a fee we charge, which covers all cost associated with the administration of the challenge.
What is a strike?
A strike is what you receive if you enter a dispute with your opponent and do not resolve it within the 24 hour deadline. Players who get 3 strikes will be suspended indefinitely from entering the Challenge Room.
Can I have a strike removed?
Yes. After five (5) successfully completed challenges with different players. We define different players as players you have not challenged within the last week.
Why can't I enter a challenge when it shows me having the right amount in my GG account?
You cannot enter because we check to see that each player has sufficient funds in their account to cover all cost associated with the challenge.

Example: To enter a challenge for $5.00 you must have in your account:
$5.00- Entry-fee
$ .50- GG fee
$5.50- Needed in your account to enter a $5.00 challenge.
What is the entry fee?
This is the price it cost to enter a challenge and compete for the prize.
Are cheats allowed?
NOT UNLESS YOU BOTH SPECIFICALLY AGREE TO IT! Because cheats have become a basic staple of most online games, we cannot prevent challenges that two players mutually agree to. Members can arrange challenges how they like, as long as they are specific. If you wish to do so, just make sure to mention this in the 'Challenge Description/Rules' when you 'Post a Challenge' or when you are in discussion with your opponent before you begin the challenge.
My favorite game is not on GorillaGamer!
Please send an email to playerservices@gorillagamer.com, Subject "Add Game." Once we have received 10 or more requests for a game, we will add the room.
What is the role of GorillaGamer?
GorillaGamer's goal is to promote a safe, secure and fun environment for our members. When challenge disputes occur, GorillaGamer provides assistance by facilitating communication between members.

GorillaGamer is unable to take action on a member's behalf. This includes contacting a member directly to ask about the status of the challenge in dispute. Since GorillaGamer is not involved in the actual challenge, GorillaGamer cannot force a member to live up to his or her obligation.
How do I get Comments and Feedback withdrawn from my Community Rating?
Members can withdraw negative feedback that they left after a challenge if they mutually agree and email mycommunity@gorillagamer.com (Email needs to come from your registered email address). Both members would have to specify what comment they want removed and that they have mutually agreed to remove it.

When feedback is withdrawn, the positive, negative, or neutral rating associated with that feedback comment will no longer show or count in your feedback score.

We will only remove feedback if it violates our Feedback Removal and Abuse Policy.
Where are the games played?
All games are played online via your gaming platform. Here is a list of the current gaming platforms for the challenges we host:

GorillaGamer simply allows you to meet other gamers, chat, enter challenges, and redeem cool prizes.
What if my head-to-head or tournament challenge is interrupted before it is over?
Work out the situation out with your opponent. Both parties could mutually agree to restart the game or choose to void the challenge.
