Challenges
  1. What is a Challenge?
A challenge is an offer to play another player a game for points. You may either post a challenge, or challenge a particular player.
  2. How do I know the other player will honor the challenge and report correctly?
GorillaGamer fosters trust between members through the development and enforcement of rules and policies, and the implementation of a character and reputation-building programs. Rooted in the values of the marketplace, GorillaGamer's policies are aimed at offering a level playing field, encouraging open, honest, and accountable reporting for challenges, and creating a skilled-based environment for everyone to enjoy.

To help the community challenge comfortably, build trust with one another, and ensure fair play, GorillaGamer offers the following tools, programs, and resources:
    • Community Rating:
Community Rating is each user's reputation on GorillaGamer. Through positive, negative, and neutral ratings and comments, each GorillaGamer member has a Community Rating. GorillaGamer's Community Rating fosters trust between people by acting as both an incentive to do the right thing and as a mark of distinction for those who report their results with respect, honesty, and fairness.
    • Player Rank:
Player Rank is a user's character on GorillaGamer. Rank is divided into groups that distinguishes a person, from others in the community. Player Rank enables users to challenge against players of similar moral character. When members first join the site they start with one banana which represents that they are a "Rookie" on the site.
  3. How does it work if I want to challenge someone in a Multiplayer game?
The captain of the team or clan should post or accept a challenge for their team. It would then be the responsibility of the captain to report for their team. The members in the room looking for challenges in multiplayer games should be captain or team leaders only.
